Cozy ambiance with historical charm.
The coffee machine in the room was out of order.

During my stay, the reception staff was quite abrasive, which made me feel unwelcome. the room, although spacious, had dated elements like the bathroom and frayed towels that shouldn't be present at this price point. I also had issues with the coffee machine, which didn't work, and when I raised this at checkout, the staff appeared disinterested in helping resolve the matter.

Interconnecting rooms in the Woodland Wing, well-decorated with comfortable beds offering peaceful nights. Quality breakfast includes table service alongside a buffet, and the range of cocktails at the bar impresses, especially the gin and whiskey selection.
The Woodland Wing rooms can feel a trek from the main building, which might not suit those with mobility issues. A need for a better coffee maker and some bathroom updates made it feel slightly less than perfect. There were some billing issues, including double charges, which added a layer of frustration to the checkout process.

Luxurious and Relaxing Stay
I recently enjoyed a wonderful one-night stay in the Woodland Wing King room, where everything from the spacious accommodation to the cozy ambiance was delightful. The breakfast served was abundant and delicious, with a variety of choices that catered to everyone's taste. the room did become quite warm at night, and a bit more air conditioning would greatly enhance the comfort.

Just had an amazing two-night getaway with friends. The hotel is a perfect spot for both adventure and relaxation. We loved hiking at Roseberry Topping and enjoying the beautiful countryside views. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of choices. The comfy rooms and friendly staff really made our stay special. Definitely recommend the comfortable lounge for evening drinks.
One downside was the delay in service at dinner. it felt like they were a bit understaffed during busy times. It was frustrating waiting to place our orders, but the food was still enjoyable.
